Customer Service / Inside Sales Support

General Woodcraft is a world class importer and distributor of premium hardwood decking, rooftop deck components, premium siding and rainscreen systems throughout the US and Canada. This unique customer service / inside sales support position requires a person with a wide variety of talents including the ability to multi-task between shipping, receiving, and load building daily. Driving a van or small truck is required occasionally. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, talented, accurate, safety conscious and experienced at achieving customer satisfaction:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Provides a high level of customer service and administrative support

- Handles telephone inquiries with customers, sales team, and vendors

- Enters customer orders freight (forklift experience required)

- Schedules orders for delivery

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum of 3 years customer service experience

· Exceptional Administrative skills

· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Highly effective communicator between manager, sales staff, operational staff, customers, and vendors

· Highly organized files (computer, paper, email)

· Excellent basic mathematical skills: can determine costs, margins, etc.

· Experienced with lumber, siding, decking.

· Familiarity with sales strategy

· Excellent telephone demeanor

· Problem solver

· Team oriented / Team player

· Strong customer service orientation

· Positive attitude

· Dependable

· Self-motivated
