Now Hiring - Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Manager in Waukee, IA

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects a new 120 unit market rate apartment development in Waukee, Iowa; Stratford Pointe. Responsibilities including managing property maintenance, tenant services, and leasing operations. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of property management, including but not limited to laws and regulations regarding the rental of real estate. The Property Manager will also be responsible for performing administrative tasks, such as preparing monthly reports for the owner, marketing vacant units to new tenants and communicating with current tenants.

• Collecting rent and other property fees from tenants and individual owners
• Reporting the property’s financial status, occupancy and expiring leases to property owners
• Meeting and corresponding with potential tenants, showing them the property and assessing their applications in accordance with anti-discrimination laws
• Advertising vacant properties
• Inspecting properties and arranging for repairs and new materials as required
• Arranging contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security and other ongoing services and managing disputes with these service providers where appropriate
• Investigating and resolving property complaints and rental violations
• Receive and manage the flow of tenant work orders
• Manage tenant correspondence and communication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
