We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Territory Representative to join our team and help us promote our products in new markets. The successful candidate must have a background in the hardscape/building material industry, be passionate about learning new skills, and enjoy traveling to meet with current and potential clients. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to develop new skills and expand your knowledge of industry trends. The candidate should have a wealth of knowledge about the available landscape construction products Champion Mulch & Outdoor Supply sells, develop sales, price and profitability strategies, recommend improvements, identify opportunities, and increase revenue. They should have strong customer service and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, or coordinate selling activities of an organization to a targeted customer or end user in a specific geographic territory.
• Identifying new prospective customers and fostering existing relationships to increase sales
• Answering all product-related questions in a polite manner and addressing queries promptly.
• Attending workshops and refresher courses in sales, marketing, and product knowledge.
• Performing product presentations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
• Assisting with the development of business plans.
• Scheduling training sessions and attending meetings as required.
• Identifying new market opportunities and relaying this information to the Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
• Making helpful product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue.
• Superb verbal and written communication skills, as well as great telephone etiquette.
• Ensure the profitability and continued growth through sales
• Conducting market research and analyzing trends, performing product presentations to staff and customers, gathering feedback, and offering recommendations
• Support the territory's customer base by selling to existing customer and creating new customers
• Educate & train contractors on product knowledge and installation best practices;
• Ensure Champion Mulch & Outdoor Supply’s brand consistency and service excellence across all sales channels

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 5 years of experience selling to distributor networks (contractors, builders, homeowners) or working in the hardscape/building material industry

· Experience in building action plans, deciphering sales reports, and building customer sales strategies

· Valid driver's license and excellent driving record

· This position requires day-to-day travel

Salary

· Salary will be a combination of base salary+commission - Average salary performance potential is $80,000-$150,000.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
