Continental Western Corporation is recognized for high quality products and great customer service and has been a leader in its field for over 60 years. With branch offices across the U.S., CWC supplies a full line of packaging, strapping, safety, cordage and janitorial products.

We are currently searching for the right person to join our team.The candidate must be detail oriented, have a purchasing/customer service background and be excited about contributing to our team. We are an energetic group who love what we do, and we want you to feel the same way.

For the purchasing part of this position, you will be assisting in order placement, acknowledgement and follow up on back orders to ensure timely deliveries based on delivery requirements and customer expectations. Maintain overall product and supplier quality while researching new suppliers and maintaining knowledge of new products and changes in quality. Oversees and Coordinate purchasing activities with other branches to meet customer expectations and company inventory objectives.

As a CWC Customer Service Representative, you would be responsible for interacting with customers and vendors mainly on the phone. In a pleasant and efficient manner, you will also be providing support to our outside sales staff and working as part of a team to handle the day to day operations of a busy sales office.

Requirements:

• Self-motivation and the ability to excel with minimum supervision.
• Excellent Verbal / Written Communication Skills.
• Computer Experience including working knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of Prophet 21 helpful, but not required.
• Ability to “multi-task” in busy sales office is essential.
• A pleasant phone voice and an easy going personality.
• Inside sales experience in a similar or related industry.
• Purchasing background.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
