Who We’re Seeking:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, easy-going person to join our team as a Business Development Representative. The Business Development Representative is responsible for fostering Oeler Industries’ ongoing market relationships with architects, designers, and other stakeholders. This person will represent Oeler Industries in one-on-one and small group settings to grow the company’s influence and market reach. This person will also play a critical role in lead development and project identification.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, coordinate and execute in-person, digital, and phone meetings with architects, designers, and engineers.
- Follow up with architects, designers, and engineers on a routine basis to enforce Oeler Industries’ reputation and scope of capabilities.
- Maintain and manage Oeler Industries’ CRM system.
- Support the Oeler Industries sales team by assisting with CRM use and applications.
- Drive new leads and projects toward sales team.
- Establish relationships between industry decision-makers and Oeler Industries.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related course of study from an accredited college or university preferred. Industry experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Hubspot.
- Familiarity with presentation techniques and software (MS PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.).
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be relationship-oriented and demonstrate consistent follow-through.
- Strong time management, organizational, and project-management skills.
- Must be enthusiastic and able to work in a small group setting.
- Access to reliable transportation; must be willing to travel during the work day within 50 miles of downtown Pittsburgh, PA.
