Our company is partnered with a large solar brand promoting the education and sale of solar systems in a big box home improvement retail store, providing them with lead generations. Solar helps customers cut their monthly utility bills using our environmentally friendly home improvement systems with absolutely no money down, so everyone can have the opportunity to go green.

In this role our Solar Brand Ambassadors are responsible for setting up potential clients with a free appointment by approaching them in the store, and discussing with them the benefits of our products and services. Our Brand Ambassadors are the forefront of finding qualified leads, and setting the customer up for an appointment with one of our sales consultants to learn more. This is a very simple, entry level role that is great for people who love to talk with others, and are self motivated to hit goals. Candidates applying should be excited about solar, outgoing, and eager to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company products through training
• Approach shoppers and engage in conversation
• Strive to turn every interaction into an appointment set
• Acquire new appointments and leads while earning commission at the same time
• Meet or exceed individual and team goals
• Utilize technology for scheduling and documenting all activities
• Communicate weekly with the General Manager on activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers as reflected in our systems

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is necessary
• Prior customer service experience is preferred, but not required (We provide an extensive paid training program)
• Must be comfortable approaching a variety of shoppers in store and engaging in conversation about solar
• High school diploma or GED required, must be 18+
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have self motivation to hit goals
• Must be able to pass pre-employment tests, including background check
• Must maintain professionalism at all times
