We are currently seeking an Industrial Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative for our Hopkinsville, KY location.

Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative

The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative is responsible for selling industrial supply products using exceptional telephone skills and be highly focused on providing customers with exceptional care and service. They are responsible for providing our customers and prospects with fast, accurate product quotes, soliciting profitable orders, order entry an ongoing customer service. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced team environment where we strive to provide our customers with the highest level of service and support. This position receives and enters orders from customers and interacts with them to provide information in response to inquiries concerning products, prices, and availability. As manager, they will direct operational aspects including distribution, customer service, inventory, administrative, and sales for the branch.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Experience purchasing MRO stock/non-stock items
• Periodic customer visits to foster strong relationships
• Inventory control experience, problem solving and the ability to analyze min/max inventory stock levels
• Utilizes computer database and Petter website to verify customer information, pricing, and availability.
• Handle customer complaints.
• Operate within standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Grow existing accounts through introducing customers to new product offerings.
• Work with management to provide business planning to reach sales goals
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualification/requirements:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous management experience required
• Experience and knowledge of Industrial and Safety products is desired
• Experience with growing existing accounts & establishing relationships with current customer base
• Strong with customer follow up, organizational skills, & excellent communication skills required

Education/Training/Experience :

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate/Bachelor degree preferred
• Ideal candidate must have various computer experience (Excel, Access, Word, Internet, Power Point)
