Now Hiring - Parts Counter Sales Associate in Grand Rapids, MI

Hoekstra Transportation is actively searching for a qualified Parts Counter Associate. The parts counter employee is responsible for assisting the shop technicians, field service technicians and customers in finding the appropriate parts to repair their vehicles while providing exceptional customer service through knowledgeable, friendly, professional interactions. This parts employee will also be responsible for invoicing parts on work orders and customer orders. Pay is based on experience.

Essential Functions:

• Create an environment in which all customers feel welcomed and appreciated.
• Parts and accessory sales
• Parts look-up, acquisition and assistance to customers, service and sales departments
• Keep current on new products and product updates
• Participate in maintaining a Lost Sales tracking program
• Warranty processing
• Maintain accurate inventory levels
• Receive and allocate incoming product
• Clean and organize work space, parts room and showroom
• Open/close shop when necessary
• Maintain professional appearance
• Participate in all required training programs
• Other duties as assigned by parts manager.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Inventory Control: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
