Position Overview:

Since our launch in September of 2013, CHG is experiencing tremendous growth which is creating new career opportunities for sales professionals. The CHG culture believes in the empowerment of TEAM and embraces individual creativity to deliver exceptional experiences to our players, operators, and tribal partners.

The Sales Specialist will manage an assigned gaming route and assist the sales team in game selections and maximize performance. The Sales Specialist should have an in-depth understanding of all company products and business processes to allow for cross-functional teaming along with customer-facing meetings. The successful candidate should have an analytical mind and endless desire to learn. This position will also work with CHG's data science department to create custom reports, perform on-site audits of the gaming floor, and support casino marketing promotions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide optimization strategies and performance insights to the sales team to maximize gaming revenues.
  • Work with data science team to develop KPI and dashboard reporting for sales, gaming operations, and leadership.
  • Create and deliver executive level presentations and customer facing materials that outline product positioning, customer pitches, and measure KPI's.
  • Assist sales with game recommendations.
  • On-site casino floor and game audits
  • Maintain customer data and manage assigned opportunities through Castle Hill's approved CRM.
  • Stay current on industry trends and support research projects.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Castle Hill Gaming products.
  • Provide quarterly updates on competitive landscape and top indexing products.
  • Professionally represent CHG during association and customer related events
  • 30% travel is expected in this role.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at times
  • Must be able to drive to travel within assigned territory or area
  • While performing duties of this job in casino environments, the individual will regularly be required to stand; use hands and fingers to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing standard duties associated with this position, an individual may be exposed to noise levels ranging from quiet to loud, secondhand smoke, and exposure to bright, flashing lights. Having to sometimes go to do work in casino environments, the individual will also occasionally be exposed to adverse weather conditions. Working conditions can occasionally consist of moving and working around the customers.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be able and willing to complete gaming license applications that ask for detailed personal data
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to maintain gaming licenses

Preferred:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to compile information into unified reports
  • Work experience in answering inquires and questions from customers related to company products
  • Work in the gaming industry and has required gaming licenses

Education, Training and Experience Required:

Required:

  • Trained and learned process of analyzing data and financial reports
  • Have analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field
  • Experience in preparing sale analyses and forecast in a marketing environment
  • Some or equivalent work experience in related field
