Saxon Business Systems, Inc., Xerox Business Solutions, is seeking a Sales Manager to supporting the greater Delray Beach area. By providing proactive leadership to achieve maximum profitability and productivity in line with company vision and values, you will be responsible for outside business-to-business (B2B) sales, managing the entire sales cycle, gaining new market share, and growing existing accounts. This is a full-time opportunity managing a team of sales professionals who are selling Xerox Office Technology and Services including hardware, software, apps, information technology (IT), and professional services in an assigned territory.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and motivate a team of individual contributors
  • Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts to ensure target sales goals and profit objectives are achieved
  • Plan and implement recurring team meetings and trainings to provide cohesive approach to revenue targets
  • Facilitate account development strategies on target accounts to drive net new business
  • Coach, train and develop strategies to maximize market potential, grow net new business and upsell in current client accounts
  • Submit accurate monthly forecasts
  • Manage daily/weekly sales activity by reviewing team performance pipeline and activity

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and expertise:

Strategic Planning & Business Development
  • Create a strategic marketing plan that aligns sales initiatives with customer requirements
  • Interprets and analyzes research and competitive intelligence to understand the market drivers and business opportunities
  • Continuously evaluates opportunities within current client base to close gaps that expand and deepen our relationships and broaden our influence across multiple industry verticals
  • Craft proposals and business solutions with a high degree of confidence and strategic thought
Team Leadership and Performance Management
  • Manages a team of high performing sales consultants by co-authoring individual and team development plans that support our business strategy
  • Holds team accountable for their own results and success through consistent and frequent communication, feedback and motivational initiatives
  • Acts as a mentor modeling exceptional sales competence and individual leadership behaviors
  • Partners with training team to reveal developmental opportunities and create solutions to enable achievement of performance goals and business objectives

Analytical & Critical Thinking
  • Interprets market data and financial reports to achieve overall sales plan
  • Is proficient in understanding key drivers within multi-vertical markets
  • Establishes effective partnerships with Operations, Customer Service, Service Managers and Product Management to win in todays’ competitive landscape

Organizational Alignment
  • Reports to a Vice President of Sales or Regional Leader
  • May directly manage one or more Sales Supervisors
  • Fosters close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders and other leaders within the organization

Desired Competencies and Experience
  • 3-5 years of progression in a technical sales environment or related field required
  • 1+ years of successful Team Leadership, preferred
  • Intermediate skill level of MS Office Suites, e.g., PowerPoint, Excel(Pivot tables, Formulas, etc.) and Word and the internet for research
  • Cross-functional knowledge of sales, customer service and operations
