Senior Technical Sales Engineer - Hydrogen

Your Key Responsibilities
- Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products and/or solutions
- Generates sales opportunities, designs technical solutions (application concepts) and ensures realization of the project according to customers needs for assigned customers in a market segment.
- Check and analyze customer requests, from technical as well as commercial aspects.
- Consult with clients on technical solutions and eventually design fully fledged technical concepts according to the requirements.
- Prepare and conduct negotiations (in terms of product specifications, project targets, milestones, pricing, and other commercial conditions) and close the contract.
- Ensure project management role in realizing the solution as agreed, in cooperation with customers and internal departments involved.
- Collect, evaluate and report information about market trends, competitors and business opportunities.
Your Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science (minimum)
- 3-5 years of engineering experience with strong competency in hydrogen applications, electrolyzers, electrolysis, hydrogen fuel cells, or related technologies
- Strong technical knowledge of electrolyzer stack / system, bi-polar plates, proton exchange membranes, hydrogen fuel cells, energy storage, chemical energy storage
- Demonstrated ability to support the sales process, including customer engagement, technical presentations, and technical proposals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Material Science
