Splitcart is looking for an Account Coordinator who can support our sales and onboarding efforts. As an Account Coordinator, you will initially focus on providing administrative assistance to our sales team, such as scheduling meetings, clerical tasks, researching prospects, and generating reports. You will also help new merchants get started with our platform, train them on how to use our products and services, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure a smooth and positive customer experience. As our company grows, you will shift more of your time and energy into onboarding new accounts and helping them succeed with Splitcart. The ratio of sales support versus onboarding support may vary depending on the company’s needs as we scale. To excel in this role, you need to be energetic, tech-savvy, customer-oriented, and proficient in communication via phone, video conferencing and email. You should also be able to learn new technologies quickly and explain them clearly to merchants with different levels of technical expertise. You should have a collaborative mindset and be willing to share your ideas and feedback to improve the onboarding process. Project management skills and experience working with both internal and external stakeholders are a plus.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings, take detailed meeting notes and track action items for the sales team
- Assist with research of sales targets and potential accounts using existing tools and databases
- Provide detailed analytics and reports on account activity and sales performance
- Coordinate internal and external projects with high-level planning, scheduling and budgeting
- Educate customers on Splitcart’s capabilities and best practices to simplify adoption and align expectations
- Record merchant implementation needs, requests, and questions in the CRM and communicate with leadership
- Ensure superior customer service by monitoring customer satisfaction and feedback and provide suggestions for improvement
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing and product engineering teams for process and product enhancements
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the onboarding process and best practices
- Create and maintain documentation and training materials for the onboarding process
- Assist with managing and updating the sales pipeline and CRM system
- Prepare and send proposals, contracts, invoices, and other documents to prospects and customers
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new competitors, leads and opportunities
- Assist with planning and executing sales campaigns and events
Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience and proficiency with web technologies such as Office 365 and CRM toolsets
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
