Job Description

We are looking for an Affordable Property Manager for three of our properties located in and near Windom, MN. The Property Manager will perform all property manager duties ensuring financial performance of the asset. Field inquiries and qualify applicants per standardized procedures. Respond to resident inquiries quickly and respectfully. Provide leadership to staff regarding prioritization of assigned tasks, carrying out quality checks on completed work. Handle compliance requirements as mandated by government agencies and the corporate office.

Responsibilities

· Perform all property-manager duties.

· Ensure financial performance of this asset through adherence to budgeted financial goals.

· Field inquiries from applicants and residents.

· Qualify applicants by submitting information for background checks, obtaining rental preferences, and verifying income.

· Perform lease renewals and scheduled rent increases in a timely manner.

· Oversee capital needs and daily ongoing maintenance needs of the property including maintenance staff.

Job Requirements

· 2+ Years of Experience as a successful Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager is required. (Experience with affordable housing experience preferred.)

· Computer literate – experience with YARDI preferred, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and using the Internet to troubleshoot problems required.

· High level of customer service with the ability to resolve applicant and resident issues.

· Compliance experiencepreferred.

· Organized, high achiever, self-motivated to achieve budgetary, occupancy, and collections goals.

· Strong interpersonal and management skills.

· Excellent written/verbal communication and people skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
