Teufelberger Fiber Rope Corp. is looking for a full-time Sales/Market Manager who is responsible for the sales and marketing efforts for Industrial/Commercial Marine Markets in an assigned area. Salary commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare marketing plans.
• Develop sales forecasts.
• Fulfill appropriate customer and prospect contact and communications (phone, on site, and trade shows).
• Select, guide and coach sales representatives as necessary.
• Jointly agree on sales targets and goals with sales reps.
• Ensure that sales reps have appropriate product knowledge.
• Direct overall account management in coordination with customer service and the support of the Marketing Communications Specialist.
• Negotiate contracts.
• Monitor replenishment process.
• Recommend product selection and pricing.
• Responsible for trade shows, and other events as needed.
• Visit key and potential accounts.
• Financial analysis.
• Resolve account issues.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Cross-train other market managers and customer service personnel in designated markets.
• Prepare product pricing analysis.
• Evaluate profitability by product line and recommend additions and deletions.
• Other duties as required or assigned by the Business Unit Manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required - Engineering preferred, MBA helpful.
• Minimum 5-7 years of previous industrial sales account management experience required; previous marketing experience preferred.
• Industrial B2B required. Utility, lifting devices or marine experience helpful.
• Requires 30% travel time to customer's place of business and trade shows.

Physical Requirements- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, speaking, hearing, eyesight, manual dexterity, lifting up to 40 pounds.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
