The Red Cross supports a variety of cultural and community resource groups for employees and volunteers. What You Will Do:
1. Oversee Account Management of Hospital Customers in an Eastern PA/Wilkes-Barre territory to include identifying target customers, new customers, expansion of current customers and implement account strategy. Set goals and objectives and assists in budget preparation. Monitor customer satisfaction trends and lead efforts to improve trends. Contract negotiation and ability to present business and technical data to small and large groups.

2. Analyze assigned hospital territory in terms of market penetration by competitors, market potential, key customers, key decision-makers, and influencers, product mix and customer product utilization - Responsible for 40 – 50 Hospital Accounts

3. Serve as the Primary point of contact. Make customer calls (in-person and via TEAMS) within assigned territory for purpose of conveying operational, educational, technical product and product utilization information. Identify and coordinate the implementation of educational programs for current and potential customer base. Participate in or lead Technical Advisory Committee meetings.

4. Introduce new products or services to customer supporting initiatives to provide highest quality products. Provide customer service to hospital accounts. Build strong client relationships.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Life Sciences or relevant related field or equivalent combination of related education and experience required.
  • Minimum seven years related experience required.
  • Related experience includes demonstrated account management and hospital sales.
  • Experience interacting with senior hospital executives, physicians and blood bankers preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to find solutions to complex issues.
  • Time management and multitasking skills in order to handle multiple tasks and multiple hospital customers at once.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Successful candidate must reside in the geographical location of the territory (Southeastern Pennsylvania / Philadelphia / New Jersey area)
