Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Community Solar Field Sales Representative to join our growing team. As a Field Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our community solar subscriptions directly to customers in residential areas across Maine. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the clean energy movement while advancing your sales career.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct door to door sales activities to engage homeowners and educate them about the benefits of community solar.
- Present the advantages of joining our community solar program, including cost savings, reducing environmental impact, and gaining energy independence.
- Utilize persuasive and consultative selling techniques to effectively communicate the value proposition of our community solar subscriptions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Attend regular team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in door to door sales or direct sales, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with potential customers.
- Self Motivated and driven mindset with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively articulate the benefits of community solar to potential customers.
- Knowledge of solar energy and community solar is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
- Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule effectively, and prioritize tasks.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
