As a Sales Intelligence Analyst at Informatica, you will help empower our sales team with relevant data-driven insights and strategies. By analyzing both public and proprietary data sets, market trends, customer behaviors, and sales performance data, you will help enhance sales effectiveness and achieving revenue growth. Your expertise in data analysis will guide strategic decisions and sales optimization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Collect, consolidate, and analyze data (and intelligence) about our customers and prospective customers from multiple sources, including CRM systems, marketing campaigns, market research, external data sources, and other relevant datasets
- External Data Source Evaluation: Search for, acquire, and organize external data sets that may prove useful for targeting specific prospective customer accounts or contacts with relevant messages
- Propensity List Creation: Using both data and intelligence about both Accounts and Contents, compile lists in Salesforce and Excel of Accounts and Contacts to be included in customized outbound sales efforts
- Collaboration with Product Marketing: Connect with Product Marketing teams to understand important feature releases and pair that functionality with intent triggers to find relevant prospective customer targets
- Project Management: Coordinate outbound sales campaigns with project milestones across Data Science, Marketing, Sales, and other groups
- Executive Presentations: Join team wide calls to launch sales campaigns, ensuring teams on what is required, while creating energy and excitement around the effort
- General Sales Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the sales process and work with the sales team to implement process improvements, streamlining workflows to maximize productivity and revenue generation
- Customer and Lead Analysis: Analyze customer demographics, behaviors, and buying patterns to support sales segmentation and personalized targeting strategies. Help identify and qualify potential lead for the sales team
- Data Integrity and Quality: Ensure data accuracy and consistency, establishing data quality standards, and collaborating with relevant teams to maintain reliable and up-to-date information
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce analytics (Reports & Dashboards)
- Proficiency with PowerPoint (Charts, Graphs, Images to deliver narratives on business metrics)
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
- Familiarity with PowerBI
- Experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role within a sales or marketing context
- Data visualization and presenting insights to non-technical partners
- The ability to understand the impact of data analysis on sales strategies
Education/Experience
- BA/BS or equivalent educational background
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
