A dynamic and established real estate/property management company is looking to hire a hands on working Maintenance Manager for its 2 apartment communities (208 units) in Geneva, NY.

The ideal candidate must possess 5-10 years’ of facilities maintenance management as well as managing/supervising a maintenance team.

We are seeking to add to our team a hard-working manager with the ability to successfully work with others to maintain a positive and safe work environment, is self-motivated, organized and dedicated.

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with occasional on-call and the ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.

Driver License and own, reliable truck with trailer hitch required.

Pre-employment background check required.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manages day- to-day activities of a team maintenance personnel and communicates daily with Property Manager.
• Analyzes maintenance work orders and assigns maintenance personnel to complete all necessary orders. Follows up with the assigned personnel as needed until the order is complete.
• Plans, assigns and supervises unit-turn projects to minimize off-line units.
• Controlling inventories, parts ordering, and vendor/sub-contractor communication with a focus on improving operations and improving costs.
• Serves as backup to those employees within the department, and gives technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel as needed.
• Candidate must be highly proficient in HVAC (boiler experience a plus), electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting skills required.
• Possess own hand tools.
• Other duties as assigned by Property Manager.
• On call required (rotation)

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
