Cambridge Management Company is a property management company founded in l989 and located in Santa Clara, California. We manage approximate 2,000 multi-family dwelling units and some retail and commercial space. All managed properties are located in Northern California. As a Multi-Site Leasing Consultant, your role assures the company interests are met in terms of occupancy rate, renewals, prospects, and positive resident relations. You have a direct, positive influence on prospects and residents in their desire to rent or renew with the community. This role requires the ability to fully embrace the company culture and exhibit emotional intelligence.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assures community is rented to expectations by professionally engaging, marketing, and selling the community to prospects for new leases and residents for referrals and renewals
- Fully executes appropriate sales techniques through communication via telephone, email, and various media
- Responsible for the screening and application process for prospects
- Engages in and maintains a proactive resident relations and retention program
- Maintain a current listing of available and upcoming units
- Responsible for maintaining resident and prospect files
- This role may require working extended hours and weekends as needed to complete tasks on time
- Accurately prepare new leases, renewals, amendments, concessions, assignments, and payment plans for review
- Follows all Fair Employment & Housing Act guidelines (FEHA) and Cambridge’s mission and values when responding to phone calls, email, walk-ins, queries regarding the community, and when working with prospects and residents
What Is Required:
- Good problem-solving skills, sound judgement in varied situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence (EQ).
- Strong sales related background.
- Good business acumen and an understating of the core business.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality for proprietary, private, and business information.
- The ability to travel locally to different communities on a regular basis.
What You Bring to The Table:
- 2 years of experience in Multi-Family Residential Property Management in a leasing capacity.
- Prior experience in a customer service or sales-oriented role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Yardi, RentCafe, and Adobe.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
