3. This is a 1099 position, but don’t worry if this is new to you! We’ll teach you how to
take advantage of the tax breaks, and income benefits, that go along with this form of
employment vs. W2.

POSITION HIGHLIGHT:
This position provides daily administrative support, but is especially heavy on assisting with business analytics, project management, bookkeeping, payroll, and providing sales support through the production of quotes for both our management sales representatives, as well as our insurance and financial service agents.

JOB DUTIES
Office/HR:
- Answering company phone
- Assisting within the office with mailings, post office runs...etc.
- Scheduling sales and service meetings
- Emailing client billings, renewals, and statements
- Updating company policies and procedures manual
- Maintaining client folders utilizing Dropbox
- Onboarding new sales representatives and agents
- Assisting with the updating, and creation of company training manuals
- Tracking employee and independent contractor absences
- Completing and distributing weekly activity/results summary reports
Sales
- Entering information received from sales reps into our quoting systems
- Preparing quote results for presentations
- Processing new sales via ACH, CC, or Check
Project Management:
- Assisting with the creation of project management plans
- Creating and updating internal systems and workflows
- Monitoring project progress and coordinating quality controls
Bookkeeping:
- Managing the books for our clients
- Performing new client onboarding using QuickBooks online
- Transferring new client accounts from QB desktop to QB online
- Completing monthly account reconciliations
- Posting general ledger and journal entries
- Processing account receivables/payables
- Preparing financial and business management reports
Payroll:
- Running payroll for our clients and independent contractors
- Paying state and federal payroll taxes
- Creating commission sheets and reports
- Verifying working hours and pay rates
- Tracking employee and independent contractor absences
- Handling payroll issues and disputes
Personal/Business Taxes:
- Setting up meetings with current and potential clients
- Advising clients about the tax preparation process
- Auditing tax forms for completeness and accuracy
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary depending on experience
