Immediate Supervisor – General Manager
Department: Rental-Sales/Front Desk/Guest Services
Job Summary: To efficiently manage the operations of the sales and front desk department to achieve profitability objectives, and sales volume, supervise the day-to-day functions of the front desk, as well as provide customer service and resolutions to guests to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
Manage sales/front desk personnel, plan adequate staffing levels, recruits and retains productive reservationist and front desk staff, provide training and guidance, evaluates results, and motivates staff to achieve performance objectives within the company policy and procedure guidelines. Creates a supportive and harmonious environment within Young’s Suncoast organization.
Coordinates the activities of the rental department with other departments, participates in company’s short- and long-range planning efforts, and prepares periodic reports of activities for management.
Manages office functions to attain profitability and market share objectives. Prepares an annual budget for the department and operates with its guidelines, monitors expenses to assure cost effective operations, sets achievement goals.
Researches and analyzes market conditions to develop forecast, new strategies, and services, keep abreast of changes in the vacation rental field by attending courses, seminars, and self-study.
Provide and train in providing both internal and external customer service to guests, and owners.
Performs other related duties as assigned which may or may not be specifically listed in this position description.
Education and Experience:
Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience in customer service
Knowledge of basic business principles
3 – 5 years experience in sales, account management/representative, customer service. Experience in management preferred but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
