Salary: $85,000 plus Commission

Our client is an award-wining restaurant located in San Francisco. They are looking for a passionate Event Sales Manager to manage the restaurant’s catering and private dining operations. This is a great opportunity to join a committed team of hospitality professionals!

Key Responsibilities of the Event Sales Manager:

• Manage the day to day handing of sales enquiries, and bookings, responding to them in a timely manner and converting into confirmed business
• Be financially astute. Establish event budgets and track expenses to ensure profitability and develop cost control measures
• Creating menus with the culinary team according to the client’s requests
• Create and circulate the weekly events sheet with front and back of house teams
• Represent the brand and culture in the best possible light within and outside of the organisation
• Follow up with clients after events to ensure exceptional customer experience and rectify any issues in a prompt and efficient manor to ensure a memorable experience
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and third parties to drive repeat customers
• Stay up to date with local competition, industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the catering and private dining operations and maximise revenue generation

Key Requirements:

• 2 years experience in Event Management, within a hospitality setting
• Proficient in Tripleseat and Microsoft Office
• An innovative leader with exceptional communication and time management skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to work all events
• Vaccination from Covid-19 is required
