Job Overview: As a Brand Digital Selling Specialist at Bloomingdale’s, your primary objective is to serve as your brand’s dedicated online Sales Professional. You will connect with customers through [please apply online] providing an elevated brand experience as you guide their purchasing decisions and answer general product questions. Through various technology applications, you will reconnect with those customers and continue to offer your service and inspire additional shopping opportunities. All technology applications to connect with customers will be available on company-provided devices.
Essential Functions:
- Flexible to manage customer interactions coming in through multiple channels – chat, email, text, phone
- Uses outreach tools to connect with customers and build relationships; inspires multiple purchases
- Sends regular communication regarding Bloomingdale’s events, product launches, and promotions
- Is an expert on product and brand story; sells with confidence
- Leads virtual appointments or consultations both one on one and with groups
- Collaborates with brand partners and Bloomingdale’s partners to deliver the customer experience & selling vision
- Participates in brand and Bloomingdale’s trainings
- Monitors sales performance daily and weekly to ensure that monthly sales targets are met
Qualifications and Competencies:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years related experience
- Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
- Strong written skills for answering chat and sending emails
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
- Ability to effectively manage customer expectations and build loyal customer relationships
- Strong selling skills, customer service and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
- Requires periods of walking, standing, communicating, reaching, crouching and climbing ladders
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
