HOURS: Hours vary daily. Retail operating hours (all your scheduled shifts will occur within these times) 7:30 am-7:30 pm Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm Saturday and 9:00 am to 5 pm Sunday. Typical shifts for full-time positions are 8.5 hours per day. You will be scheduled 50% of Saturdays, 25%-50% of Sundays. Overtime is mandatory - typical work week is 38 to 45 hours. You will work 5 days per week, when you work on the weekend, you will have days off during the week.

Your job duties include:

• Assisting customers at the retail counter, cash register and on the phone
• Keeping retail cases and shelves stocked, fronted, and properly rotated
• Assist with ordering. Work with vendors on receiving and ordering product.
• Train new employees on retail procedures
• Prepare, package and label meat products (beef, pork, chicken, turkey, wild game, waterfowl, fish, seafood and others) according customer specifications and/or inventory needs
• Assist with cutting fresh meats for case when needed
• Prepare, package and label food products
• Package and label non-food products
• Operating packaging equipment
• Operating retail point of sale system
• Operating meat slicers
• Assist with ordering of products and supplies
• Have general knowledge about all products sold in store
• Washing of hands/arms multiple times daily per industry health standards
• Daily clean-up of retail areas
• Assist with other jobs in any department as needed
