Hoveround is searching for a National Sales Manager to direct all facets of the Customer Solutions division's sales of company products; devising and implementing sales strategies, forecasting sales, leading nationwide sales team to achieve sales targets, maintains relations with vendors and customers, and plans and directs training to increase performance.
The Essential Functions of this position are:
- Plan and direct staff training and performance evaluations.
- Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
- Interview, hire and train sales team members.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggested improvements to senior staff.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges and security practices.
- Build relationships with customers and the community to establish long-term business growth.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
Qualifications for this position are as follows:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5-7 years sales management experience in field sales and market planning.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
