An account manager will have direct access to client decision makers regarding employee benefit plans.
An account manager is responsible for ensuring clients receive superior service and overall satisfaction, retention of assigned clients, and maintaining day-to-day relationship.
The account manager proactively reviews plan performance, gauges client satisfaction, and utilizes technology, tools, processes and resources to anticipate client needs and expectations.
The account manager collaborates with the internal team regarding client activity, service needs, as well as coordinating with customer service regarding participant feedback.
The core responsibilities include:
· Managing day-to-day client relationships via knowledge of the client initiatives and benefit plan
· Overseeing initial and ongoing evaluation of client needs
· Creates and delivers month-end and client plan review reports.
· Promoting continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures relating to benefit activity
· Ensuring delivery of high-quality benefits administration services and customer support consistent with Patient Advocates mission
· Completes updates to Plan Documents, Drafts amendments and coordinates with Client on benefit exceptions
· Frequent communication with clients via technology and face to face visits
· Managing escalated client issues
· Travel to onsite client meetings and open enrollment meetings
· Staying up to date with regulatory changes
· Staying up to date with the clinical team regarding patient care
Skills Required:
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner
· Strong organizational skills
· Proactive planning and resourcing
· A minimum of 5 years of work in the healthcare industry preferably in customer service or operations role
· Technically savvy and able to adjust to new technologies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
