Position Overview: As a Sales Manager at KIC Ventures, you will play a critical role in promoting and selling innovative medical devices to orthopedic spine surgeons, neurosurgeons, and pain management physicians. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospect new customers in your market, and support customer’s surgeries utilizing our medical devices. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, customer growth and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and inspire a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Set sales targets and performance metrics for the team, and regularly monitor and evaluate their progress.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and provide ongoing coaching and training to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as the BDC and product development to ensure effective communication and alignment of sales objectives.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, providing accurate and timely information to management for decision-making purposes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales management, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Demonstrable experience in medical device sales, preferably with orthopedic devices
- Strong relationships with orthopedic or pain physicians
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to perform at their best.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate reports.
- Ability to travel as required for customer visits, conferences, and industry events.
