Full description of the position

Are you bilingual English/Dari or Pashto speaker? Are you driven and customer service oriented with the passion to help others?

As a Customer Service Representative – Bilingual English/Dari or Pashto, the selected candidate will play an important role as a team member of the Julia Johnson State Farm Agency in our mission to help individuals and families protect their assets and plan for their future. We offer comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in this rewarding career.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service: Service includes responding to insureds inquiries regarding policy coverages, policy changes, claim submissions, taking premium payments and provide billing explanations.
  • Use exemplary communication skills to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.
  • Contribute to the success of various agency marketing campaigns through the year supporting the Sales Team.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bilingual English/Dari or Pashto, with high verbal and writing communication skills.
  • Must pass and obtain the required Washington Property and Casualty Insurance License within 90 days from employment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Outgoing with enthusiasm to learn, apply and implement successfully
  • Willingness to further your professional development through coaching and mentorship
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as part of a team
  • Confident in using Windows based softwares such as Microsoft Office and Outlook and have the ability to quickly learn proprietary softwares used in daily operations.
