Overview of Sales Development Representative
Golfballs.com is looking for talented Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) eager to grow and develop their sales career with the World Leader in Golf Customization. Ideal candidates will have energetic, can-do attitudes and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment. As an SDR you will be the initial point of contact for the development of our business-to-business sales channel with primary focus on the sale of custom logo and promotional merchandise.
The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts. You will discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships. Having golf industry experience to provide our customers with appropriate options, and complementary custom items is an important attribute.
Outline of Duties
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
- Be the initial point of contact for new business prospects and working to determine the best next step
- Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for Account Executives
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue and pipeline growth, including the setting of qualified connections for Account Executives
- Meet sales revenue and referral revenue targets
- Multitask phone, email, chat, & CRM
- Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
- Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities
- Stay up to date on new products within the golf industry
Expectations:
- A deep-rooted drive to achieve while contributing to the success of the organization
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Golf product knowledge and brand awareness
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Experience conducting outreach such as cold calling and emailing
- 1-2 years of relevant professional work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or a related field
Income & Benefits
We offer a generous compensation plan designed to reward top performers. Pay is a base plus commission structure, anchored around the revenue and profit you generate. In their first year top candidates have earned $55,000+ with increased earning potential and advancement opportunities each year thereafter. Golfballs.com offers 5 paid vacation days after first year of service, 7 paid Holidays and accrue up to 10 sick days. Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans are available along with participation in the company’s 401k plan.
- All duties are subject to change and can be updated. Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.
Full time, base plus commission first year earning expectation of $55,000+. Concept is 30k base with an expected 25k+ in commissions.
Employees must pass a drug screen upon hire.
