Position Summary

The Director of Sales is a key member of the Independent Living Systems Sales & Marketing Team. This individual is committed to the achievement of the company’s growth aspirations and sales goals.

Essential Functions

This qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Conducts interviews and hiring of direct reports. Completes a ninety-day introductory and annual performance evaluation of each direct report. Facilitates professional growth and improved proficiency of staff who are direct and indirect reports through mentoring and training. Conducts ongoing performance management of each direct report; establishes performance goals; and measures performance against goals.
  • Identifies, qualifies, and sells ILS products and services, including nutritional support services, care management, care transitions and managed long-term care to healthcare organizations including national and regional health plans, ACOs, hospitals, provider organizations as well as other viable markets/targets that represent opportunity for sales.
  • Develops and maintains a strong knowledge of ILS and our products with the ability to present these services to prospects with or without support from SMEs within the organization. Also, maintains familiarity with competitors’ services and products.
  • Contributes to the development and successful execution of an annual sales plan and goals. Work closely with Vice President of Sales and ILS Executive Leadership to provide support when needed.
  • In line with the company’s strategic direction, assures sustainable new revenue growth utilizing effective sales strategies and processes. Manages to meet/exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Creates and implements effective direct sales strategies toward achievement of corporate sales objectives. Qualifies and prioritizes leads. Initiates sales calls/presentations for ILS and conducts appropriate follow-up as needed.
  • Builds key customer relationships with existing and future Company customers. Manage large enterprise accounts.
  • Establishes effective relationships and collaborations with other department (Marketing, Finance, IT, Nutrition and Meals call center).
  • Attend and/or exhibit at summits and conferences.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

Education and Experience

  • Four (4) year degree required
  • Demonstrated experience leading marketing initiatives and implementing effective measurements
  • Experience working in a heavy growth environment is preferred
