Full description of the position

Position Overview

The responsibilities of a Field Sales Manager include training and providing professional development for their teams and ensuring weekly, monthly, or quarterly goals based on the team's performance to date. Work with Sales Director on how well each individual achieves these seasonal targets. Work with the team evaluate all aspects that generate new business while maintaining customer relationships on a store level.


Essential Job Functions

  • Provides leadership to the sales team.
  • Motivates and encourages Territory Managers and Merchandisers to ensure merchandising and sales priorities are met.
  • Identifies and analyzes customer priorities to properly direct sales efforts.
  • Monitors Territory Managers and Neighbor Island Merchandisers in Go Spot Check
  • Works with Account Executives on ensuring priorities are met by the sales team
  • Work with Territory Managers at store level weekly
  • Work with Sales Managers at one N/I per month
  • Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
  • Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations. Collaborates with Director of Sales
  • Must participate in manufacture resets and store resets
  • Helps fill in for Territory Managers when needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
