EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field and 7 years of experience in technology product management, business and/or customer relationship management required. Must have experience with technology business solutions, enterprise integration platforms, and messaging infrastructures. Experience as a product owner, strategic planning, process improvement, change management, and/or performance monitoring/evaluation required. Must have advanced knowledge and understanding of technology trends and technology performance management and business integration. Prior experience and leading/managing pilots and prototyping projects. Master’s degree in preferred. Directly related experience may be substituted for a degree on a year-for-year basis.

SUMMARY
Serves as the senior business liaison between the Department of Technology and business stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions to optimize software, tools, and platforms. Demonstrates leadership within the IT BRM team to coordinate and implement strategies that leverage technology service delivery, performance, and efficiency. Responsible for developing and fostering essential business relationships between the Department of Technology and internal business groups of the Authority. Responsible for developing and tracking Business unit unmet IT needs and translating the business request to the technical team. Ensures that technology resources, services and efforts are aligned to support current, and future business requirements within the technology space. Anticipates and eliminates communications barriers that may impact technology service delivery or performance. Additionally, this position collaborates with enterprise architects, solutions architects, business, and IT service owners to ensure that the solutions are adhering to enterprise technology standards and best practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Works in close collaboration with internal and external customers to analyze information technology needs, proactively develop solutions and implement strategies that leverage technology services based on functional requirements.
2. Works with other IT BRM's to identify and validate business objectives, improve Business Relationship Management practices, measure, and monitor customer success factors, key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate solutions that align with MARTA’s technology strategy and standards.
3. Performs technology process mapping, customer journey mapping and business process modeling to forecast and improve service delivery, accessibility, and sustainability.
4. Participates in Architectural Review Board meetings for evaluating applications for compliance with both enterprise and business standards. Ensures that business units are well-informed on the operational implications of technology-related decisions.
5. Identifies and validates business objectives and generates documentation for the development of solutions that align with MARTA’s technology strategy and standards.
6. Develops and organizes internal and customer technology training and serves as the primary point of contact for technology service delivery and planning related matters.
7. Works closely with IT leadership teams and business stakeholders to measure and monitor customer success factors and key performance indicators (KPIs).
8. Prepares and reviews Statements of Work, Idea Documents, Requests for Quotes, and Business Requirements Documents for Customer Engagements.
9. Participates and reports outcomes of Pilot Projects and performs in-depth analysis of existing and future technology practices within MARTA.
10. Works and direct activities that may lead the development and implementation of business innovation and transformation strategies.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
