The position will see the successful candidate working with many well-known companies, helping customers with pricing as well as solution development. In addition, there will be supportive requirements to others in the sales team and other departments as the position develops.
The position will best suit a practically minded salesperson, who has a creative mind, a customer first attitude and a desire to strive in a busy environment.
The fast-paced nature and demands of the roll will not suit someone who is looking for a 9-5 position.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Form customer relationships which instill trust in you and ASG Services while enabling you to identify solutions.
- Customize and create new variants based on existing products.
- Create proposals, estimates and solutions documents for customers and industry partners.
- Develop, nurture and maximize industry relationships.
- Work closely with production and project teams to ensure customer needs and expectations are exceeded with every order. ASG Services does not tolerate poor communication, internally or externally.
- Write and present reports on all sales and network activities monthly and maintain the company CRM systems accordingly.
- Keep abreast of and monitor market and competitor activity and recommend client base expansions as appropriate.
- Work closely with other sales team members to act as a combined unit.
Experience & Requirements:
- Proven sales abilities in reactive environments, customer management and account development.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop professional business relationships with industry partners and resellers.
- Excellent closing and negotiation skills with the ability to directly support and help close major projects.
- Ability to demonstrate commercial aptitude in meeting the needs of the business.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft office, accounting and CRM systems.
- Industry knowledge would be an advantage, but not essential.
