Job Summary

The Cargo Sales Analyst will manage contracts and execution of Customer Rate Increases as well as provide overall support of regional Sales VPs on contracts expiring and contract renewal. This individual will be responsible for analyzing cargo sales data, identifying trends, and making recommendation to improve cargo sales performance. This position will work closely with the sales team and finance to provide insights and develop strategies that increases sales and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Manage the CPI and Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) increase process which includes initial
• Customer communication, follow up management, financial analysis as required
• Create the potential financial impact of CPI and LWO increases
• Create worksheet on current and new rates and distribute via email
• Customer communication is part of the role
• Follow up acknowledgements with customers
• Update and report out recent rate increases obtained
• Analyze cargo sales data and report out identified trends, patterns, and insights to the sales
• teams
• Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to develop and implement sales plans to drive
• revenue growth
• Provide informed recommendations on how pricing should be handled according to industry
• trends.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives
• Ad hoc projects and reports as needed
• Assist with the creation of a Cargo Pricing Strategy and roadmap for the year
• Must be able to interact and collaborate across multiple departments,
• Report progress to SMEs and Senior Leadership team
• Determine target rates and recommend strategies to achieve targets
• Responsible for observing and identifying deviations from process and course correction as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Finance or Statistics
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Operations or Sales Analysis
• Excellent analytical skills with experience using Excel and other data analysis tools
• Ability to self-manage with little oversight

Pay: $63,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
