Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the commercial lines insurance department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and outstanding customer service.

2. Lead and mentor a team of commercial lines insurance agents, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

3. Develop and execute strategic plans to meet departmental objectives, while adhering to industry regulations and compliance standards.

4. Collaborate with other department supervisors and managers to optimize workflows, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and improve overall operational efficiency.

5. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development initiatives for team members.

6. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging risks to ensure the delivery of tailored insurance solutions to clients.

7. Handle complex client inquiries or issues, resolve complaints, and act as a point of escalation for critical matters.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

2. In-depth knowledge of commercial lines insurance products, including general liability, property, workers' compensation, and professional liability insurance.

3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving targets and delivering exceptional service.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling effective risk assessment and management within the commercial lines insurance context.

5. Proven track record

6. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
