Job Overview
:

Responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers (agents, resellers and end users) while overseeing sales processes and orders implementation. Work as main point of contact to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive experience, through high level of customer service and organized account management.

Responsibilities/Job Functions:

  • Prepare and deliver quotes to VTG customers and prospective customers.
  • Develops relationships with customers and identifies sales opportunities and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with distributor(s) to secure best price for customer quotes.
  • Recognize and register deal opportunities.
  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess hardware needs and to determine system requirements.
  • Research products and services for customers to verify compatibility, availability, etc.
  • Train new or existing employees as needed.
  • Answer customer questions regarding quotes. Direct customer to other departments as needed.
  • Schedule meetings with clients and or Sales Representatives.
  • Keeps certification/partner levels current with vendors.
  • Register for authorization to sell new services and products as needed.
  • Enter and modify customer orders
  • Follow up on quotes to close sales.
  • RMA/Returns/Credit memos
  • Completes vendor required/ recommended training
  • Maintain the Sales department Sharepoint site by submitting educational information to the sharepoint admin.
  • Answers phone calls made to the sales line.
  • Renews customers subscription/license services as needed.
  • Maintains and enters important information about customer account into their profile. –Configurations, notes, etc.
  • Prepares sales reports as needed.
  • Prepares expense and mileage reports as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in Sales Account Management, Operations Management and background in customer service
  • Strong communicator, detail oriented, results driven, ability to work as a team and independently
