Our successful hotels are looking for a hospitality professional with a sales mindset to assist in helping grow our portfolio. You will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience at our hotel in addition to attracting new guests to increase our revenue. You'll be in charge of responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills as well as previous sales experience. Please apply as soon as possible if this describes you!

This position will support 3 hotels (Hilton and Marriott brands)

Responsibilities:

• Manage schedules, file important documents, and communicate relevant information from the sales team to stakeholders and hotel departments
• Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities
• Maximize profits by selling more and providing upgrades to guests to ensure they are completely satisfied
• Create a list of business and referral leads through research and networking and make preliminary pitches
• Establish and maintain communication with customers via phone and email to answer their inquiries and requests

Qualifications:

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired
• Stays organized and manage time well
• Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Proven track record of sales success
• Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
