About the Inside Sales Specialist Role:
This role engages with customers to qualify sales opportunities and engage in an application evaluation, client consultation, product selection, and purchasing needs across all major product lines. The goal of the Specialist is to manage a funnel of opportunities by supporting each customer’s needs from initial assessment and product evaluation through to the point of sale. Because our products are highly customized, the Inside Sales Specialist must be able to evaluate the customer’s existing systems, their specific applications, and goals, and develop a customized offering that suits their needs. Internal collaboration efforts will include interaction with Marketing, Technical Support, and Field Sales in order to ensure that each customer receives a product that meets those needs, the best possible support, and purchase experience as measured by team and department KPIs.
What Will I Be Doing?
Generate quality sales opportunities to be closed by Inside Sales, or for handoff to a channel partner or regional sales manager
Engage in detailed application review with potential customers, identifying the client’s specific needs, gaining an understanding of their current systems and product application, and potential modifications and customization of our product offerings, across the markets we serve
Achieve daily KPIs (Cadence Completion/Meaningful Sales Interactions, Lead/Opportunity and Bookings Conversion Rates)
Generate additional leads through outbound calling programs using internal lists and marketing materials
Develop and follow standard work to contact and convert leads to opportunities, utilizing a consultative sales strategy
Develop and provide timely and accurate quotes to customers to support the sales process
Demonstrate technical and application knowledge to provide prompt, accurate answers, customized solutions and successfully qualify leads and engage customers through to the point of sale
Collect and provide constructive feedback to cross-functional co-workers to drive continuous improvement of process
Build B2B relationships regarding our product and service offerings
Collaborate with other Marketing and Sales team members to continue to improve lead generation programs and processes
Identify and monitor customer trends in all verticals – supported by customer visits to better understand opportunities and challenges
Are You Qualified?
4+ years inside sales experience preferred
BA/BS degree preferred and may be substituted for prior sales experience
Experience with CRM systems (i.e. [please apply online] database management systems and common sales tools/methods (preferred)
Proven experience in lead qualification and inside selling
Proven ability for cross-selling and up-selling
Strong organizational and time management skills
The salary range for this role is 64,500.00 - 65,500.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
