Medford Nursery, a wholesale container grower located in Medford, New Jersey has an opening for an exciting career opportunity as a member of our team of Inside Sales Representatives selling to independent garden centers and landscape contractors. This person will work to increase sales with our current customers and expand our customer base. Horticulture experience with woody ornamentals, roses and perennials is required. Past Garden Center or Landscape experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Customer service – take and review orders, offer product substitutions, give tours to customers and sales reps
• Quality control of outgoing material
• Daily dock checks
• Maintain frequent contact with customers, follow up on deliveries/pickups, solicit orders and additions to fill out trucks
• Collaborate with the production team regarding product salability and inventory
• Monitor inventory accuracy including distribution of availability and future crops
• Monitor shipments, communicate order changes or shipping delays to customer and sales rep
• Track customer shipments to maximize sell through of pre-booked spring orders
• Resolve any customer concerns and assist with issuing credits
• Schedule customer pickups
• Complete sales reports to measure success in increasing sales to the assigned account base
• Telemarketing of special events
• Occasional travel to attend tradeshows, visit customers and inspect product
• Weekly photos of plant material to be distributed to sales reps and customers
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
