Lift Off Distribution is looking to hire a District Sales Manager to join our team in Lorton VA. District Sales Manager is primarily responsible for managing a team of Account Sales Managers in a predetermined territory to maximize volume and revenue growth. This role is predominantly an in-the-field position with direct people management responsibilities. These responsibilities include coaching selling skills, in-store display execution, and merchandising standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Sales
- Maximize revenue growth through in-store audits and employee supervision.
- Ensure accurate and timely customer service is provided to customer base.
- Develop strong business relationships with key customers within sales territory.
- Set specific sales and merchandising goals for his/her team
- Audit Customer locations to maintain merchandising, point-of-sale material, and product rotation standards.
Personnel
- Train and motivate Account Mangers to develop superior trade relationships, maximize selling skills and to deliver expected in-store merchandising and display results.
- Ride with route salespeople on the van or truck to train and evaluate employee
- Conduct staff meetings with Account Managers and Trainees to discuss progress in meeting goals and objectives.

Requirements for the position Include:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years work experience, preferably in beverages/consumer products in a DSD model.
- Experience in people management preferred.
- Strong analytical, process improvement, problem solving and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
- PC literate
- Valid Driver's License
- General lifting of up to 45lbs and moving up to 100lbs with a handcart.
