We're looking for a highly organized, responsible and communicative Apartment Manager to join our team. The right candidate will have a background in working with people and understand how to handle conflict in a positive manner. This is the ideal opportunity for a professional who has strong leadership skills, an eye for detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates must have general knowledge of bookkeeping & math, working knowledge of tenant laws, computer literacy with QuickBooks & Excel preferred, willingness to learn and a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a group of buildings.
- Advertise & show apartments to prospective tenants
- Ensure that buildings are safe to live in and well maintained.
- Process rental applications & negotiate new leases with tenants
- Collect rent & security deposits from tenants & track accounts
- Coordinate & communicate with tenants, maintenance & owner
- Provide a consistent customer experience across all locations.
- Manage resident files including lease agreements., maintenance requests, change of address forms and other paperwork.
- Help prepare vacant apartments for occupancy as needed
- Handle all administrative & financial tasks related to apartment complex
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
