Now Hiring - Account Manager - Japanese Bilingual in Dublin, OH

The company is a manufacturer of automotive products such as heat exchangers, battery cooling components, and radiators. You will be responsible for acting as client advocates and working with internal departments to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
• Displays or demonstrates product, using samples and/or pamphlets, and emphasizes salable features.
• Quote prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
• Work with inside sales representatives and other departments to keep account activities and literature up to date.
• Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
• Establish annual targets for the assigned department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluency in Japanese at conversational level is a must.
• Understand Kaizen techniques and possess demonstrated ability to lead people and get results
• Proficient in presenting information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme almni is a big plus.
• Willing to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently.
• Willing to travel approximately once a month.
