Columbia Pipe & Supply Co., a recognized leader in the distribution of industrial PVF, commercial/mechanical contractor is currently looking to add to our sales staff located in Canton/Detroit area.
We presently have an excellent opportunity for an individual with a PVF sales background to be based in Canton/Detroit area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned territory by contacting customers and building strong working relationships with accounts; promoting Columbia Pipe product line and growing sales
- Trouble shooting customer issues and bringing to resolution
- Maintain excellent follow-up with customers
- Communicate with manager and inside sales team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Provide reporting and analysis for assigned territory as required
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the areas of PVF, commercial and industrial preferred
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Thorough knowledge of industrial PVF, commercial/mechanical contractor
- A valid driver's license required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, results oriented individual
- Positive attitude with focus on service
- Team player with the ability to work closely with others within the organization
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to quickly learn internal order entry system (Oracle/JDE)
This is a commission eligible role. The estimated total compensation range is $75,000 - $95,000+ annually.
