Retail Sales Consultant

We are seeking service-oriented, self-motivated individuals to join our growing sales team in our new Framingham, MA showroom. This position will report directly to our District Sales Manager and will also work closely with our Regional Sales Manager. Our sales approach is customer-friendly and low pressure – we earn our business by providing an upbeat, informative sales presentation, by providing the largest selection of hot tubs in New England, by allowing customers to test our products, and by offering the best after-purchase service experience in the market. Our sales approach is to thoroughly understand a customer’s needs and to help them find the perfect hot tub for them.

We are a non-commission sales company, although Sales Consultants can earn meaningful quarterly and annual bonuses for achieving company goals and for exceptional teamwork and customer service.

The onboarding/training for this position will mostly take place at our Danvers. MA showroom but there will be time spent in other locations as well (Hanover, Scarborough, ME). The Framingham showroom is scheduled to open in late August/early September.

Responsibilities/duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Become an expert on our hot tub, swim spa and sauna products, in order to help our customers find the product that best meets their needs
  • Interact with customers in our showroom, by phone, over email or through website generated leads using HubSpot CRM with a friendly, service-oriented approach
  • Understand and be accountable for monthly and annual sales goals
  • Follow through with clients to ensure they remain satisfied, that their questions are answered, and that their needs are met—after the sale
  • Represent Mainely Tubs at fairs and other selling events
Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Five+ years of sales experience in a retail environment (preferably big ticket and/or luxury items)
  • Customer service-oriented attitude and a passion for relationship building and selling
  • Strong presentation and communication skills both in person and on the phone
  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft applications (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed - including the ability to work weekends
