Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer with expertise in insurance policy administration systems and a robust technical background in IT. This role is crucial to our sales process, as you will be tasked with demonstrating the key features and capabilities of our BPA platform to prospective clients. You'll also play a pivotal role in drafting proposals and statements of work that effectively translate the benefits of our solution to align with our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrating the key features and capabilities of our BPA platform to potential clients in an effective and compelling manner.
• Drafting well-structured proposals and statements of work that showcase our platform's value proposition.
• Leveraging a deep understanding of insurance processes such as submissions, quoting, binding, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals to address client needs.
• Understanding and explaining the rating and pricing of insurance policies using our platform.
• Applying knowledge of both technical and financial aspects of insurance accounting.
• Using your knowledge of API-based integration frameworks to demonstrate how our platform can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems.
• Traveling within the USA to meet with potential clients and demonstrate our solution.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer in a similar SaaS or IT setting.
• Strong background in insurance policy administration systems.
• Proficiency in the technical and financial aspects of insurance accounting.
• Strong understanding of insurance processes, including submissions, quoting, binding, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals.
• Understanding of insurance norms and standards in the USA, such as ISO and AAIS.
• Knowledge of API-based integration frameworks.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Willingness to travel within the USA.

Preferred:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus
