We are a successful and growing local manufacturer/distributor in the alternative culture industry, in business over 45 years, in a rapidly expanding, progressive market. We are looking for articulate, driven, and passionate individuals with a strong sales background.
Due to the continued growth of our company, we are looking to add a motivated, full-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This position focuses on identifying potential new customers within our industry, developing relationships with newly acquired accounts and maintaining an above excellent relationship with our current customers. This individual must be a self-starter, trustworthy, responsible, team-oriented, driven, and work independently with little supervision and excellent communication skills. The company considers dependability, self-motivation, honesty, integrity, and confidentiality to be of high importance.
Job Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
1. Acquire new customer accounts through maintaining a target prospect list. This includes outreach activities to a minimum of 50 prospects daily by phone, email, in-person visits, or utilization of direct messaging/social media engagement.
2. Provide top notch customer service to all customers.
3. Keep neat and detailed notes of calls and customer interactions (all business development activities must be logged, tracked in Hubspot CRM)
4. Tenacious and driven, you excel in environments where your reward is based on your effort - uncapped potential. Can you effectively grow and manage a large client book of business?
5. Accurately completes all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in a manner consistent with Randy's guidelines, including but not limited to the following: entering sales orders, invoicing, and reporting on sales.
6. Well-informed about our competitors' activities; informs manager of any changing competitive pricing programs, marketing directives, or sales tactics, promos etc.
7. Collaborate with other teams to develop and execute strategies to increase sales, as well as improve margins.
8. Continued tracking of monthly sales goals and quotas.
9. New hire evaluation will take place at 90 days and 6 months.
10. Reports to Sales Manager, GM, and Admin Team.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- MUST be comfortable making cold calls and executing additional prospecting tasks.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Engaging interpersonal skills.
- Ability to listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, and articulate pitches to sell products.
- A passion to succeed and a strong personal drive to sell to prospective customers.
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle. This also includes the ability to attend out of state trade shows.
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications as well as consumer and commercial communication devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, set-top converters, and wireless devices).
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as business needs dictate to maximize prospective customer contact.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Experience using Hubspot is beneficial.

Pay:
$24,000.00 Base + Uncapped Commissions, Potential Residual Income.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with Potential for Flexible Remote Work Opportunities Upon Training Completion.
Required Wednesday In Office Hours: 9:00 – 6:00 p.m.
