Job Duties:

The Account Manager works directly with the Sales Manager and the Client. They are responsible for managing sales opportunities for American Crafts. They are also responsible for communicating the clients committed project(s) to the correct team members. A commitment is a project that will result in an official PO from the client.

  • Track and analyze Purchase Orders and Sales Orders for client•
  • Complete precisely detailed forms for introduction of new products to client
  • Creating product descriptions, including some technical writing
  • Measuring products for dimensions
  • Manage and solve conflicts with client
  • Co-ordinate efforts between design, sales staff, and sourcing department on behalf of client
  • Manage Back Orders for client, including investigating time frames and production issues
  • Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual customer’s needs
  • Build long lasting relationships with customers through superior customer service
  • Participate with management in creating sales plans and goals
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations
  • Respond in a timely manner to all customer inquiries, including emails and phone calls
  • Assist customers with special requests and problems
  • Maintain any technological proficiencies that may be required
  • Practice honesty and integrity in customer relationships
  • Assist in keeping facility and work area clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently
  • Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug free workplace

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to enter large amounts of data into spreadsheets and forms
    • Intermediate to expert Excel ability
