Position Summary

The Lead Business Transformation & Planning role will support the America's Sales and Customer Success (ASCS) team in defining and developing the quality strategy, processes, standards, stage gates, and systems within this newly established team. This role reports to the Director, Strategy & Business Transformation.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a best practice planning vision, strategy, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

  • Incorporate existing Bridgestone Quality Management System best practices into what is created for ASCS

  • Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on our transformation strategy and end-to-end processes.

  • Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised, and modified to meet the needs of our evolving organization.

  • Partner with Implementation and Customer Care Teams to assist with build-out and management of processes so that the ASCS team has end-to-end visibility.

  • Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate

  • Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.

  • Collaborates with the strategic implementation team for definition, process, and ongoing management of a proof-of-concept stage-gate process.

  • Evaluates existing processes and retrofit them where applicable to work within our transformation strategy.

  • Creates a review cadence with pertinent information and KPIs to cover with the ASCS leadership team

Scope

  • Complexity - Highly complex start-up environment, ability to help build structure (team and process), external relationship management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience 8+ years in related fields

  • Ability to interpret business strategies used by potential customers and/or segments in process and ways of working

  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills

  • Strong process acumen and comfort working cross-functionally

  • Is resilient, optimistic, and open to change.

  • Self-driven individual, with the ability to drive projects with a low level of supervision.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • a plus.

  • Proven ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma /Lean process or other process certifications
