This is a full-time, direct placement for Prestige Worldwide Logistics
Main Purpose of Job
The National Sales Representative represents the company in all sales and sales support activities. Responsibilities include initiating and supervising all commercial activity between the company and its customers, understanding customer requirements and satisfying those requirements in a professional manner that assures the successful execution of the territory sales plan.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Exceed monthly, quarterly, annual targets for revenue and profit margin per the annual sales budget.
- Grow revenues through consistent new business development as well as through growth of existing accounts.
- Increase Market share by creating and tracking weekly lead metrics in CRM system aimed at expanding business with existing customers and expanding business into non-existing customers.
- Negotiate pricing with customers to meet/exceed monthly gross profit goals.
- Update CRM system at a minimum of once each business day.
- Develop initiatives to increase sales with current customer base by identifying and introducing products and services to customer facilities not currently being serviced by Prestige/UFR8.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers throughout the lead identification stage through close. Earn credibility within the industry and demonstrate solid knowledge of competitive strategies and customer trends.
- Onboard new customers through explanation of services, pricing, expectations, and support and communicate customer requirements to Account Managers.
- Plan and direct the execution of strategic sales initiatives for each account.
- Work closely with senior management to establish sales plans and strategic objectives for customers.
- Recommend and participate in industry-related trade shows and other networking events.
- Utilize social media as a means of industry networking and developing new business.
- Submit expense reports on a weekly basis.
- Other responsibilities assigned as needed.
Skills and Specifications
- Strong new business development, client relationship management and sales forecasting experience with track record of demonstrated closing skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Strong sales presentation capability.
- Familiarity with product and project specifications.
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs
- Experience using E-Mail and Customer Relationship Management platforms.
- High level of comfort in communicating with every level of an organization from executive management to Account Managers.
- Planning, prioritizing, and organizing skills.

Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or logistics preferred. Will consider past experience in logistics industry as substitute for bachelor’s degree. High school diploma required.
- Minimum of four years’ prior experience in selling logistics services with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas.
- Valid government-issued Driver’s License and driving record that confirms Prestige/UFR8 requirements.
- Ability to communicate in English.
