Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 DOE + Bonus + Stock Options

Quotes Coordinator // Sales Support (Industrial or Mechanical exp req) Description

Our client in the Hydronics, HVAC, and Plumbing industry is looking for a Quotes Coordinator to add to their team in Hayward or San Jose, CA. In this entry-level role, you will be trained to evaluate bid specifications to ensure that all information is obtained to successfully bid and win a project. Additionally, you will work with Submittals to organize data and documentation for optimal customer experience. To be successful in this role, you must be able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications and compile an accurate mechanical and/or plumbing equipment take-off and summary. Quotes Coordinator // Sales Support (Industrial or Mechanical exp req) Responsibilities

● Review mechanical and plumbing plans to identify products on which to bid
● Extract documents
● Estimate costs of equipment
● Apply pricing standards; prepare quotations
● Relay quotes to customers
● Monitor potential bids
● Provide active service to customers, vendors, and outside engineers
● Team with outside sales engineers to understand regional sales strategy for the territory
● Maintain open communication regarding specific accounts and project activity
● Work closely with our Business Development group to ensure clarity on potential bids
● Discuss special pricing situations with sales engineers or supervisors
● Stay up to date on all new product offerings
● Peruse online services for new projects

Quotes Coordinator // Sales Support (Industrial or Mechanical exp req) Qualifications

● 1+ years of customer service or sales support experience required
● Mechanical or Industrial Aptitude required
● Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications required
● Must be computer savvy
